OmegaT Version 2.6.2 Released
OmegaT is a free and open source multiplatform Computer Assisted Translation tool for language service providers and translators with fuzzy matching, translation memory, keyword search, glossaries, and translation leveraging into updated projects.
And in February 7, 2013 OmegaT latest version 2.6.2 was released.
OmegaT 2.6.2 contains 10 enhancements and 4 bug fixes.
A new external post-processing command can be defined globally or per project. It allows to launch specific processes (e.g., processing a Rainbow project) after using Create Translated Documents.
Partial tag verification is available, allowing detecting only severe tag issues.
The Word (.docx) filter was improved. Spaces are preserved in the target document in all cases. When translating into an RTL language (e.g., Arabic), the orientation of the target document is switched automatically to RTL.
In the Editor, tag colouring now works for RTL languages.
It is now possible to select text with the keyboard in the various panes and in the Search window.
In team projects, changes in the writeable glossary were not calculated correctly, which resulted in duplicate entries. When the writeable glossary was not inside the working copy, it was not possible to synchronise the project. Now, if the writeable glossary is outside the working copy, no attempt is done to synchronise it.
The Slovenian, Dutch, Russian and Italian localisations were updated, including the readme and documentation for Dutch and Russian.
